2) Know Your Seasons—knowing what foods grow in which  season makes decisions and meal planning easy.  (see seasonal chart on the side)

3) Bring Sturdy Bags—to be really eco-friendly bring reusable cloth bags. Add a backpack or shopping cart to transport your larger hauls.

4) Getting Bored with the Same-old stuff? -  consult recipe pages on the internet to bring a fresh twist to you table. Also try tip #5.

5)    Have Fun, Be Adventurous—Try a new vegetable or fruit. If you don't know how to prepare it, ask the vendor how they like to eat it!

6) K.I.S.S.— Keep It Simple Shoppers: The produce you’re buying is ultra-fresh. Let its natural flavor  shine through by keeping preparation simple.
