With the latest weight management technology, I can now measure your resting metabolic rate (RMR) and tell you precisely how many calories you burn each day. From this, we will be able to determine just how many calories you should be eating to help control your weight and reach your weight loss goals. 

It would be easier to lose weight if you knew how many calories you burn
Think of this in terms of gas for your car. If you don't know what size gas tank you have (the number of calories you can put in) and you didn't know how many miles you drove or the MPG your engine gets (the number of calories you burn) you would never successfully reach your destination. Think of your burn rate as your "fuel gauge". This allows you to put in precisely the right amount for your trip without over fueling. (Unlike a car, your body stores the unused fuel as "FAT"!)

The First step...

Learning your individual Resting Metabolic Rate!
Why? RMR typically accounts for 60-75% of your total caloric expenditure. This number can change due to caloric restriction, weight loss/gain, illness, exercise and changes in body composition.
It's easy. It's convenient. It's fast. It works!

How it works: The sensors in the BodyGem, a hand held device, accurately measures oxygen consumption, the spark that fuels metabolism.

Next, we determine how many
calories you are consuming.


By logging the foods you eat and the quantities, we can determine how many calories you are actually taking in and make the appropriate adjustments to your eating and exercise to get you in-line with your individual metabolic rate.
